Develop:Brighton returns on 13–15 July 2027 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole. The date and venue are confirmed, but the organiser’s site still displays the 2026 conference programme and speaker list.
I’d keep this one on the shortlist for practical talks rather than announcements. The previous programme separates art, audio, coding, design, production-related disciplines and indie development, which makes it easier to judge whether a session fits a problem you’re actually working on.
The event also describes an Expo, an Indie Showcase for unpublished games, awards and networking. Those are reasons to follow the next programme announcement, not confirmation that a particular 2026 speaker, exhibitor or showcase game will return.
When: 13–15 July 2027
Where: DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, Brighton, UK
Best fit: developers looking for practical learning and contacts across UK game development
Still to check: the 2027 session list, prices, pass access and showcase applications
If you’re deciding whether to travel, start by finding several relevant sessions once the new programme appears. A date alone isn’t enough to justify the trip.
Dates, venue and programme status checked on the organiser’s website on 16 October 2026. Logo: Develop:Brighton / Tandem Events.
