gamescom latam is scheduled for 22–25 April 2027 in São Paulo. It combines a public games show with an industry business area and the BIG Festival, its independent-games competition.
That independent-games side is what I’d investigate first. A curated competition can give you a more useful route to unfamiliar developers than simply following the largest booths. But the organiser’s worldwide calendar doesn’t yet establish the 2027 finalists, so there’s no reason to pretend we already know which games will be there.
For professional visitors, the business area serves a different purpose from the public programme of games, cosplay, board games and esports. Check the edition’s ticket categories and meeting arrangements before booking travel.
