The Art of River City Girls commits to the school-yearbook idea in the object itself: a textured hardcover with gold foil sits inside a transparent PVC slipcase. Fangamer says the two layers form one design.
The listing covers the original River City Girls and its sequel, with material from River City Girls Zero as well. It describes more than 300 pages of production artwork and behind-the-scenes commentary, including an introduction by series creator Adam Tierney.
From sketches to game assets
The collection follows the artwork from early sketches and concept drawings through storyboards to finished game assets. Commentary from the developers accompanies the images, connecting the drawings to the work of making the games.
The yearbook format ties the three games together as one collection. The official gallery shows the book’s cover, slipcase and interior spreads.
