The Games Forum Roma takes place on 12–13 November 2026 at Villa Mondragone, in the Rome area. Attendance is free, registration is recommended and there’s no live online attendance option.

This is a working forum on games, culture, education and the industry, rather than a consumer exhibition. The programme includes a panel on preserving games heritage and a hands-on workshop about making game design more inclusive.

The preservation discussion is the draw for me

The panel brings together people working in art, animation, music and games heritage. That makes it a more relevant stop for this newsletter than a generic business-networking event. And the design workshop uses practical exercises, so you can take part rather than just listen to another panel.

  • When: 12–13 November 2026

  • Where: Villa Mondragone, near Frascati in the Rome area

  • Access: free, in person, with registration recommended

  • Important: the separate Rome Roundtable is by invitation

The organisers plan to release selected recordings and materials afterwards. That isn’t a promise of a full livestream or of every session being available online.
