Tokyo Game Show is scheduled for 16–20 September 2027. The organiser announced those dates on the 2026 event website after that edition concluded.
What it hasn’t established on that page is the full 2027 visitor plan. The header, venue information, ticket links and business/public-day timetable still refer to 2026. Don’t use them as confirmation of which 2027 days you can attend.
I’d follow the indie programme before committing to the trip. A show this large needs a more specific reason to travel than its size: particular developers you want to meet, games you want to try, or professional meetings you can arrange.

Where: Japan; confirm the 2027 venue in the next edition’s visitor information
Best fit: visitors who can build a concrete plan around the eventual games and exhibitors
Still to check: public versus business days, ticket availability, venue, exhibitor list and indie selection
For now, this is a date to keep, not a complete booking guide. We’ll need the new visitor information before recommending a particular day or ticket.
