Undertale’s art book is a development record, not another guide to finishing the game. Fangamer describes 228 full-colour pages that run from the earliest concept sketches through the end of production, with commentary from Toby Fox.
Toby Fox’s commentary accompanies artwork by Fox, Temmie Chang, Gigi D.G. and other contributors. The sequence follows the drawings through development, pairing the images with his account of the design process.
From development drawings to the printed book
Fangamer offers a softcover edition and a digital download. The physical book carries a gold-debossed Annoying Dog on its back cover, extending the game’s artwork to the binding itself.
